Lo Romero Golf is situated in Pilar de la Horadada in the popular spanish city Alicante, Valencia. The geographical location is perfect – it is both close to a number of beaches at the Costa Blanca aswell as to the city of Alicante and San Javier. The golf course is about 15 minutes away from the San Javier Airport and a 45 minutes drive from the El Altet Airport.
Not only is the course easily accessible, it is also beautifully situated with a harmonic environment. The landscape is beautiful and both the Mar Menor sea and the mediterranean sea is close to the course. The whole course offers splendid views over the sea but the highlight is without doubt the 18th hole which is surrounded by water and located on a round island. Classic one; Par 72 and 18 Holes
Lo Romero is a classic par 72 hole 18 with an approximately 6,2 kilometres long golf course from the white tees and 6 kilometres from the yellow tees. The course is surrounded by an enjoyable, natural landscape with mediterranean pine trees, Carob trees and naturally grown Rosemary plants. Here you can enjoy a calm and tranquil game and end it with a pleasant walk to one of the many cozy harbours nearby.
The golf course opened in 2008 and the architect is Jorgen Gallón. The golf course offers something for players of all levels and has courses for beginners as well as courses for more advanced players who wants to lower their handicap, better their swings or solve specific faults, among many other things. The courses for beginners are as well adjustable and are held in a fun filled environment.
